MEET THE TEAM

LUCY PINCOMBE
BSc Hons Sports therapist
APPI Pilates Instructor
Lucy graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy from the University of Plymouth, studying at Exeter College. She has developed a broad range of clinical skills, including manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and injury management. Since qualifying, Lucy has further expanded her expertise by completing a Dry Needling Medical Acupuncture course, enhancing the range of treatment options she can offer her clients.
Her therapeutic skill set includes sports massage, functional rehabilitation, joint mobilisations, taping, cupping therapy, and sports first aid. Lucy takes a personalised, evidence-based approach to treatment, recognising that no two individuals are the same. Rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach, she works closely with each client to develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs, goals, and lifestyle.
Outside of the clinic, Lucy is a passionate athlete who regularly competes in HYROX events, running races, and swimming competitions across the UK. Her firsthand experience in sport gives her valuable insight into the demands of training, performance, and recovery.
Always eager to stay active and embrace new challenges, Lucy enjoys exploring different forms of exercise and movement. Alongside her sporting pursuits, she is also a qualified swimming instructor at her local health centre. This enables her to provide expert guidance on low-impact, water-based rehabilitation techniques, helping clients recover and build confidence through exercise in the pool.
